Espresso X is a Limited Edition that was created for a customer, but it turned out so well that Slöinge wants more people to enjoy it.
Consists of 50% São Pedro Cunhas from Brazil and 50% Abakundakawa from Rwanda. São Pedro, which is red and yellow Catuai, contributes sweetness, nuttiness, chocolate notes, and a smooth cup.
Brazilian coffees generally have low acidity, which means we often blend in another coffee to enhance the flavor profile. Udeye, roasted a little longer, contributes a distinctly fruity character, caramel sweetness, and a large portion of blueberry jam. Both are roasted very carefully to maintain the coffee's originality and sweetness.
Both Santa Rita and Abakundakawa are so-called natural processed, meaning the coffee is dried with the skin and pulp remaining around the bean. This allows the sweetness of the coffee cherry to penetrate the bean, resulting in a fuller and sweeter coffee.
